Our Music

We wanted the type of music that we were looking to use in our film to consist of dark atmospheric sounds that is often quite brooding to the ear but also has slight use of electronic sounds to reflect the atmosphere and setting within the film showing a world where technology is evidently important.

Initially we looked at up pace atmospheric music from video games like ‘Metal Gear Solid’ that consist of music that sets the tone and setting for the storytelling within the game. The music however was way too action packed and upbeat for our type of storytelling in terms of our shots so we continued to search for calmer music with a similar effect.

After searching and listening to different types of slower paced, electronic music we happened to stumble upon a song named ‘Bluetech – Probability Tree’ which had the same impact as our initial MGS idea’s but with a much slower/calmer melody whilst still being able to set the tone and atmosphere in our opening.
